About the event

The event features 2 rooms of wearable art, one --with one-of-a-kind museum-worthy creations for special event wear that will blow your mind. The second room features Lola's photography and painting techniques displayed in silky, soft athleisure designed to be worn everywhere!  If you've shopped with Lola before, wear yours to the event! We'll be celebrating our vibrancy together!

Last year featured a 30-year retrospective of the artist. This year, she will have different prices on display, including the unique new gown "Rise of the Matriarchy" featured in the finale of a NY fashion week show on Sept 10 and other looks.  What you learn will surprise you!

To be able to serve eveyrones needs at different times, Lola will speak about the matriarchy at 1:30 and 3:00, so you have time to hear about that. She can explain the other works in the studio before or after the matriarchy talk.

Please be advised there are four front steps to enter the studio. There is a specially decorated private changing room on the main floor so you can experience the awesome power of the clothing yourself! Don't be afraid to ask to try things on-- that's the whole point! These pieces are designed to be put into motion and to positively affect the person who sees themselves and those who see them, too.

There will also be a limited amount of home goods, tees, and some experimental pieces too!

The Arlington Visual Art Studio Tour is a free, self-guided tour open to the public. The tour is comprised of nationally and regionally known artists in their studios. It includes contemporary and traditional art and fine crafts in many different media.  Artists will demonstrate and describe the processes used to create their unique work.

COVID Guidelines: – Studios may require visitors to wear a mask. – Numbers may be limited in a studio, so there could be a wait outside. – Please respect social distancing. – Please do not go on the tour if you feel unwell.  NOTE - Exact Location & Directions-Maps: A link to an interactive map is here so you can walk to other artists studios too. My studio is #18 on the map.   ❋ This studio is not open publicly. This is a special event. :) Likewise, most of the other artists on the tour are not generally open to the public. ❋

Please RSVP, which helps me prepare. Bring your art-loving friends. Get ready to smile. See you then!
